I thought that I just heard on a NYC Radio Station that there was a recall issued by Volvo on som e of their mid-90's cars, the 850 included, with regard to the "heating element" used in the seats, which has been linked to car fires on the Volvo. Nobody I've talked to can tell me for sure if this RECALL is true. Any advice?

Gary- i found the recall on the NHTSA site; I will be taking my car to Bayridge Volvo soon to have them fix it; If only we can have the same for our ABS/Tracs unit. There is a God...... so keep hope alive!!!!!! BD
