S70 to 97 854 T5 spring swap possible? 850

Hi all- I've come up with the idea that maybe the '98-00 S70 springs will ease the harshness of my 854 T5 ride!! Has anybody done this; is it a straight-forward swap; and did the ride improve alot/alittle/ not at all????? Also, I'm running koni struts and Bils shocks, will this make any difference in doing the swap. Lastly, is it wise to get them(springs) from a salvage yard or new from an online source??? TIA for all suggestions/comments!! BD

    I doubt they will help very much. Yes, the springs are a bit softer, and the 70's run 55 profile tires instead of 50, but more than anything else, the difference in ride quality is a stiffer chassis.
