Power Door Locks - not cooperating via switch S70

Suddenly the driver's side door lock switch stopped working - no up no down.

Wife says her side works and shows me. I try it and find it's sticking a bit either closed or open and if I play with it a bit I can get it centered.

I'll assume the switch is toast (pretty early age too). Is this common?

How does the switch panel come out so I can R&R? Thanks.

Power Door Locks - not cooperating via switch

The sticking passenger door switch is the problem. When it's stuck, it overrides the function of the drivers side, including the fuel door release. To remove switch, I use a putty knife about 2" wide, wedge it between the switch and the oppening in the door, and slightly pry with putty knife while gently lifting/jiggling with a finger under the switch. Alternately, you can pop off the door panel and simply push the switch out.

      Bob, thanks!

Just curious, do you mean that I should pry out the entire (graphite colored) switch assembly that includes the window button as well? Or does the little rocker pry out seperately?

      Thanks.
