Radio Codes S70

I bought a used S70 and recently had a CD changer installed. The problem I face now is when I called the dealer witht he VIN# to get the code it didn't match my car. ANy way to get around that issue myself without involving a trip tp the dealer?

Uggh. What a pain in the ass. Double check your user's manual and see if anyone wrote a new code in it. Not likely, but a possibility.

I had to do the same thing you did when I installed mine - I'd lost my card and had to call a dealer. Fortunately, mine matched my VIN.

One option may be to pull the radio and use the Serial Number.

'Hope your seat heater isn't burning you up too much!

When I went to the dealer with a new radio, he popped it out and said he needed 3 numbers, which he read off the top of the unit. I don't know which they were, but I hope that helps.
