Where is the ABS control module located

Where is the ABS control module lcoated on a 1997 850 GLT sedan with turbo and TRACS option.
It is not where it is pictured in my HAYNES manual.

Where is the ABS control module located

they are bolted under the hydraulic pump, almost in front of you if you stand by the fender on the driver's side. they are held under the pump by 1 4mm bolt at each corner. careful, the 4mm heads are easy to round off. in case you DO round off a screw and you're changing the module anyway, take out your dremel and grind down the screw head. not exactly an easy job because IT IS tight down there.

Where is the ABS control module located

It's mounted to the underside of the ABS pump unit with 4 screws. Black, about 4"x6"x2"
