Can anyone give history on 1999 T6 Tranny issues. I am experiencing a shuttering while tranny shifts from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th gears. Thanks in advance.

TSB on THAT issue................... S80 1999

There's a TSB on that and the trans is NOT replaced, the valve body gets a replacement STH solenoid which cures the problem.
Take the car to your dealer as they should be aware of that TSB and proceedure. It's a 7 hour job. Our dealer stocks those solenoids as it's not uncommon.

I bought a 99 s80 T6 one week ago. 50m with a volvo certified warr. I drove the car one day, same problem. They put a new transmission in. I pick it up on Monday.

If you don't go syn., then go with Chevron Dextron and Lube Gard additive. Lube Gard will eliminate the shudder you've noticed. See www.brake-noise.com

how many miles on your ATF????have you flushed and gone back with synthetic??????

I just took posession of the car a few weeks ago so I'm not sure. I have appointment with mechanic on Monday so I will have him flush the system and suggest Synthetic. Thanks
