Side Molding getting caught on the door 850 1994

Hi There

I have a 94 850 wagon, it's treated me quite well but is starting to show it's age. The black side door molding is starting to loose the clips and gets caught in the door when you open them. Has anyone had this before? Can I just replace the clips and is it easy to do, or does the entire molding have to be replaced entirely if it is starting to bend?

Any advice greatly appreciated

Thanks
AJ

try pushing the molding towards the back of the car. sometimes they slide forward and hit on the door jams. you can take them off check your clips they just snap on. you can buy new trim for about $30.00 - $40.00 i think.

same thing happened to me, but the clips had lost all their grip. The metal rail on the inside was pretty much chewed up, so I bought a new moulding. It was $70, but the dealer installed it.
