how many temperature sensors in an 850.? 2 or more ? 850

Does anyone know how many temp sensors are there in an 850. Haynes says there are 2 above the door handles. Are there any inside the air vents on the dash.

2 ONE ABOVE BOTH FRONT DOORS UNFER THE JESUS HANDLES

I'd like to know also if they're damaged or compromised by cigar and cigarette smoke. Unfortuatley, my previous owner was a smoker. The dealership cleaned the car very well and it's very hard to tell but occasionally I get a whiff of cigarette funk. I know what smoke does to microphone capsules (ok, different animal) and was curious about the temp sensors.

Nat,
If you are talking about ACC sensors then there are many. I don't know the exact number but they are found on the dash (included in the alarm indicator), behind vents and also in the roof liner...
