How do you remove the rear emergency brake shoes on a 1998 V70AWD?

I ask why because they don't wear, only used to hold the car. On older cars like older, high mileage 850s, 700s, 200s, the shoe material eventually falls off the metal backing and that's the ONLY reason why one would replace them.

OK..........remove rear calipers and rear rotors. The rest is cake, no tricks or special tools like old domestic car rear brake shoes were.

Jake-my emergency brake is acting wacky! Sometimes its tight but most of the time its loose, like a broken cable. Could it be the pad came off and is floating around in its pocket?????
