Anybody ever try to add a quality amplifier to a factory sc816 head unit? I would like to add a 4 channel amp to increase my sound quality. I have read/heard of others doing a DIN to RCA conversion, but don't know if they had to do it themselves or buy one, etc. Any suggestions/help is appreciated...

    When I last looked into doing this, there was no easy way to do it short of building your own wiring harness. Since then, I've heard that Metra makes a conversion harness, but I've never tried to verify that. You might want to look up Metra's web site to confirm.
