Sagging sun vislr 850 1996

A Volvo service advisor informed us that the sagging driver side sun visor could be repaired by replacing the spring. I cannot figure out how to get to the spring any suggestions. The vehicle is a 1996 850 GLT. Thanks.

I broke down and bought a new one from volvoparts.com. Now I may need the passenger side. I will be interested to see if surgery to replace the spring can be performed.
