850 Ignition fault code LED dead 850 1994

Greetings,
recently experienced sudden dramatic drop in MPG to 17 from 21.5 average. Happened suddenly, went to check socket A port # 2 and got 1-3-2 low or high voltage, then went to check socket 6 for ignition and no response led would not illuminate at all no matter how I press the button.
Anyone have a clue why no response? Is alternator toasted? batt weak? dist cap etc. etc.
Thanks for any help

What is 1-3-2 code?
Did you try to clear it and, if you did, what happened?

I fixed mine 850 1994

I had to remove it and resolder the inside. One of the wires had vibrated loose from where it is connected, so there was no response.

so disconnect, disassemble, resolder, reassemble, reconnect

be very careful not to lose any parts and go easy on the solder or reclosing the box will be tough.

(at least that was mine, I guess the light could've burned out too)
