Maximum wheel offset for 850 ? 850

Hello:
anybody knows what is the maximum wheel offset for 850 wheels ? Most of the wheels for my 95 T5-R have offset 40mm (some are 42,and 38...) Will the 49mm be too much ? Anybody knows what is the correct offset range ?
