Hi All,

I have an S80 T6 with Sat-Nav.

Part of the Sat-Nav is a 6 disc CD Changer in the boot for the navigation discs, this cd changer cannot be used for audio cd's.

Does anybody know if there is an adaptation to make this cd changer useable for audio, or know of an aftermarket source for a 10 disc changer compatible with the HU-601 (volvo prices are ridiculous)?

The Nav System CD changer is dedicated for the Nav System. I have tried Audio CD's and DVD's and the just give me a "Wrong CD" message on the Nav LCD Screen.

My local audion dealer says that an Alpine 6 CD changer will work. I wanted to buy one but the "adapter cable" wasn't ready yet. This was last June and the dealer stated it is scheduled to be available in August. I haven't gone back because the place to mount it is in the trunk. I just carry my CD's with me in the passenger compartment and change them one at a time.

How do you like your S80 ? I think we have about the same car... T6, Nav, DSTC, Middle of the road radio.
