Auto trans 3-2-5 fault code 850 1994

Twice over the last week, the transmission has gone into "limp-home" mode, with flashing arrow. On both occasions this has occured just after I have shifted out of 3rd into D a few minutes into a drive after a cold start. It comes right after switching off the ignition for a minute or so.
I checked the OBD codes today, and pulled a 3-2-5 code. My Haynes manual doesn't list a 3-2-5 code! Does anyone know what this means? Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

    Auto trans 3-2-5 fault code 850 1994

    sorry!
I was reading from the wrong socket. The codes from A1 socket are 1-4-3, 1-1-4, and 3-2-2. I'm not sure how long these codes have been stored, as I have only had the car for a month. I think the 1-1-4 code ("break in driving mode selector circuit") may have been generated when I drove the car with the centre console removed, ie sport/economy switch disconnected, but I'm not too sure what the other 2 codes mean. 1-4-3 ("kickdown switch circuit shorted to earth") must be a previously stored fault, as the trans always kicks down O.K. So I'm guessing that 3-2-2 ("Incorrect gear ratio for given roadspead") must be the latest fault. I didn't put it into 3 at a silly speed, so maybe it's a faulty sensor of some sort. Any clues?
    Thanks,
    Paul

As mentioned, the PNP switch is a very common problem. You
can see more about this at:

      http://volvospeed.com/Repair/pnpswitch.htm

A new switch is about $80 with a couple hours labor to replace.
Typically first seen when the weather turns cold (theory being the
grease in the switch is a bit cold at this time). Failure
mode is slow so you can live with it for a while (restarting
      the car often clears it).

When the PNP switch went on our 95, shifting from 3rd to D would
cause the up arrow to flash and locked it into limp home mode.
Only happened once but I only tried it once. We had the up arrow
light on and off for a few weeks up til the point I tried this.

      Auto trans 322 fault code 850 1994

The 322 code is sometimes caused by a bad PNP (or gear selector) switch. At this point, I'd clear the codes, drive it a while and see if they re-appear.
I wouldn't worry about the 114 code at all but if either of the other two re-appear, especially if it's putting the car in limp home mode, then I'd replace parts (probably a bad PNP switch). If the fluid's dirty, flush it or have it flushed.
