Hi guys,

I just replaced the air filter with a cone filter as shown on the image, The only thing is that i noticed that now i have to press the pedal a little harder to kick in the turbo, How do i adjust the turbo to kick in sooner? never dealt with turbo adjustments before and was wondering what you guys suggest.

Jorge, I just did almost the same mod, but instead of the smaller cone I installed K&N's larger cylindar filter! What I noticed is that I get a nice high pitch soft turbine sound! I have heard some folks refer to a "whistle" but to me its a turbine sound! Good Luck! Bill

Besides the sound, did the performance change? Any other mods on your car?

Typer.........The cylindar 9" K&N is sitting 3/4 of the way out of the bottom part of the air box which I suppose is acting as a heat shield1 No other mods other than running 0W-30 Mobil 1 Syn and a trans that to date is approx 3/4 Mobil 1 Syn ATF. Why Mobil !??? Here in Vermont, if your want a good cup of coffee and a MUCH better selection than any coffee house, you go to any Mobil/quick-stop.....you have to be here to appreciate it1 Its a B&J thing!!! Anywho, as far as performance goes... (I think...it makes a very noticable change in pick-up! I did the mod as a way to increase the gas milage! Bill

how hard was it to change the air filter? I'm thinking about doing it myself as part of the 30k service.

3 minute change

only need a SCREWDRIVER and a small torx(to remove the air sensor from the box)
