Painting Callipers? Black 855. Thoughts? Black/Silver/Other? Thanks

I painted mine red - they stand out nicely against the black paint of my car, and contrast nicely with the alloy wheels, too.

I think red calipers look particularly good against black or silver car. Silver calipers would look nice against a blue car, though yellow or even bright cobalt blue would look nice, too.

Black calipers are hard to see (if you want them to stand out); and I'm not sure of the contrast with silver against an alloy wheel.

I did mine red several years ago. Don't use just any sort of "paint" though - it'll look exactly like that; like you just "painted" your calipers like most of the rice racers do. If you go ahead with the project, spend the extra $$.

Get something that includes a cleaner (the kit I used had a nice spray on solvent that got rid of all of the crap) and then an epoxy-based two part paint (something with a hardener in it).

By doing it like this, you'll end up with a smooth "coated" finish - similar to Brembo's and other european mfg.s brakes.

The brand I used was called Folia Tec I believe.

Upracing.com sells G2 caliper paint that looks like the same thing. $40.

I'm in no way affiliated with them - I just did a search and that's what I came up with.

Good Luck!
