The digital clock resets to 00:00 when the ignition is turn off. What is the problem and how can it be fixed?

I would also be intrested in hearing an answer to this. When I first got my "new" '96 855 Turbo a few weeks back, the clock reset once or twice in the first couple of days. Since I finally set the clock myself 2-3 weeks ago it has not reset. I also remember on time that the alarm light was not flashing, so why would the battery have completly cut off?

Check fuses (10,15,18) I think. In fact check all of them. Then post back.

All fuses check OK. Please note that clock is working fine when car is running. It is only when not running and ignition is off that clock won't keep time in memory. Does clock memory runs of the car battery or does it have its own internal battery? All help is appreciated.
