Howling from front of engine V70-XC70 1998

I have a 98 V70 T5 with 68K and sometimes when I start it in the morning I get a weird howling from the right front part of the engine. It only lasts a few minutes and goes away when the car warms up. I just had the Air pump replaced about 3,000 Miles ago. Any thoughts? Thanks

    Same problem. I have a 98 V70 R AWD. First thing in the morning is a low howl which goes away. Volvo could not find the noise when I left it with them. It howled when I first drove off. One day, I turned it on and sat in the garage. With a little gas, the howl came on. I shut the air conditioner off, thinking it was the prblem. Same noise. I can only conclude it is the serpentine belt.
