Shocks 850 1994

I wanted to order rear shocks for my 850 sedan .
Was told the chassis number is required . Could someone tell me where to look for this , thanks.

There is a metal sticker on inside the left front fender, by the battery.
3rd line is the chassis code should be 4 digits like "5339" or similar. they only need the code to determine if you have Nivomat shocks which came on some high-end models. If yours is regular N/A, you have regular shocks ($50.00from dealer mechanics price)

Just goto shox.com or call them and give your year and model of car. might be a good idea to do the struts(which typically go bad b/4 shocks)too if they have not been done recently. Also, at shox.com you have a choice of OEM or aft mkt, unlike the dealer who will only sell you BOGE/SACHS. I got my set-up for about 500 and these were bils/koni, so OEM should be much less. good luck, BD
