Greeting one and all,

I had the timing belt changed at 70,000 miles and I noticed before that, that the service light was coming on after start up for a few minutes. I assumed that it was a reminder for that service. Now at 75,000 miles the service light is coming on again. Should it be looked into, or just reset, thanx in advance.

Scheduled maintainence reminder. Comes on every 5k for turbos, 10k for non turbos. Can be reprogrammed to 7.5k or 10k if you desire. Volvo scan tool required to reprogram.

The service light comes on just as a reminder for scheduled service. I just had mine come on for a "85,000" scheduled service. The deal reset it after doing other maintanence on the vehicle.
