My first post, have searched site endlessly for an answer. How do we remove the rear brake light cover from my '97 850 GLT Wagon? (the long upper cover next to the rear window) The Hayne's manual says "grab either side and pull being careful not to break". Wow, that's alot of help!!! Is there a trick???? Thanks!

    On my V70 r wagon, you access the rear light clusters from the inside. The interior panel pulls away, exposing the light assemblies, then you remove the particular one you are replacing.

    Lisa, are you trying to access a bulb? I think you woulg get at it from inside.....I would also think there will be fastning hardwear visable from the inside access panel.
    On the other hand I drive a S70, so I dont know too much about the back end of a V.........
