Has anyone tried painting their grille black? How did it turn out? 850 1995

I am considering painting my grille black. My car is also black and I think it would look good but question if I can get any paint to stick to the grille permanently. Has anyone tried this?

    I used a textured finish flat black spray with a grey primer. It has worked pretty well so far. To get a nice look you might want to remove the emblem before painting.

      Hi,
      The grille would have to go a shop that does powder coating. I don`t know where you live but if it`s a reasonably large center there should be several places that do powder coating. Yellow pages? Also the grille might have to be sand blasted before powder coating, I`m not sure since I`ve never tackled this "problem"

    HI,
    Maybe a better approach might be to take the grille in to a shop & have it powder coated black. Likely look better & last longer.
