Hi:
what are the diffrences between 1994 and 1996 850 ? I own a 1994 car and can get a 1996 with the same mileage....was anything upgraded between 94 and 96 ? (body, mechanicals, etc ?)

    i think the newer interior switches allows you to replace the back light when they get blown and i hope they addressed the windows closed/ sunroof open noise issue.

    Body styling is different on the headlights and the rear lights.Wheels on the 1995 onwards are 5 bolts.Transmissions are more reliable on the post 95 cars.

      '94 turbos and models with sunroof had the newer headlight and bumper designs. '94 and up had five bolt wheels. Taillights were redesigned in '95 and interior switchgear is a little different. Also, side airbags began to be available in '95. Overall, minor changes between '94 and '96.
