blinking shift light 850 1994

After doing some low speed crusing i put my volvo in L or low gear, after that the shift light or arrow ont he dash started blinking . Anyone know what i should do? It runs fine

    According to the manual there's a problem with the trans but after shuting down the car (96) I found all was well again.
    Check with dealer or favorite tech guy.

    The second 96 is number 9.
