*%*&!@ CD Changer 850 1994

We bought a '94 850 Turbo wagon a while ago. SO far, I have been quite pleased with the car other than the check engine light coming on all the time (knock sensors). I can't get the magazine out of the CD changer, nor do I even think it is getting power. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Bert

If it is a Volvo changer, there is an inline fuse close to the unit. Common problem with fuse holder. Check the fuse, and check for power from the wire. Check for continuity through the fuse and holder. The other end of the power wire tees in to the power antenna wiring. To get the cartridge out, try sliding a credit card or drivers licence under the cartridge about in the center. This usually releases the cartridge.
