What is this? 850 1995

Noticed something hanging inside my 850 wagon's rear suspension spring:
The part is yellow/orange rubber and it looks like a cylinder that could be
a bump stop. Anyone have ideas?

it could very well be the bump stop floating around. when i replaced my shocks and struts, i had the same thing. they replaced the $.50 clip and put the bump stop back in place.
