Original Brake rotors on 95 850 turbo 850 1995

Can someone tell me who makes the original Brake Rotors and Pads on the 85 850 turbo. I have heard either Brembo or Zimmerman ?? I replaced the original with BALO and the brakes have never been the same...

If its Brambo or Zimmerman and i buy Brembo and Zimmerman not from the dealer..do i get the same quality product..and the exact fit

any recommeded sites for these parts...

    i installed brembos about 10K miles ago and they are working great. i used oem pads and the volvo silicone grease and there is no squeaks or anything. i find them as good as the oem rotors i had. i got mine at carpartstogo but i think there is a sponsor on this site that will ship for free if its more than $50. shipping was about $10 to the northwest. Ken

    This has come up on this board before before with no conclusive answer
    (the factory could source them from more then one supplier -- common in automotive industry).

    I would just get OEM from volvoparts.com or other discounter that
    advertises here. You get the rotors along with the new bolts pre-dipped
    with thread locking compound for about $60 (each).

      thanks ray for the response...

      i guess I was thinking if the original maker was zimmerman then why not save the money..if there is no manufacturing differece..

      if anyone has installed any other brake rotors and has been good as original..please let met know...right now i can only go for cheap ones..

        brembo rotors aren't too bad...u just have to heat-seat them to avoid cracking them (couple runs of 40 mph to 20 mph with moderate brake pressure)

          i just ordered Brembos for all four wheels, and the rears came today. i got Textar pads for the back and front, so i'll be able to give you a better opinion in about a week when i get the fronts in the mail and start installation.
