Cliking noise while braking V70-XC70 1999

Sometimes while braking I here a clicking noise coming from the rear. The car brakes straight and there is no warpage in the rotors. Any ideas? Thanks.

    I have a 2000 V70 SE and was told by my dealer that it had to do with the brake pad mounting kit. About $25cdn for both calipers. Apparently the clip can and will break which causes the clicking....
