need help with 850 engine start puzzle 850 1996

Strange things happen every second time (randomly) when I start the engine
Engine by itself starts perfectly,
but lights ABS and TRAC OFF are on,
speedometer does not work,
turn signal switch does not work,
low beam lights do not work,
auto transmission is locked in the park unless push the unlock button.
Performance of other components seems OK, I was able to drive home 60 miles without any problems except mentioned.
What could be the common reason for described symptoms?
This behavior happens only at start, after that it is like yes or no situation, nothing changes until you stop the engine and start again.
I checked fuses, they look OK for me.
Your opinion, advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like the ignition switch is giving grief. All the classic symptoms of shift lock, no lights, no speedo. This is an easy and relatively cheap fix if you DIY.

Check your battery for charge and all the connections at the cable ends for corrosion. Weak batteries or lack of juice due to corroded cables may contribute to electrical problems.

A brand new battery has 13.2 volts. Check yours in the morning before you start the car. Check across the poles then actoss the cables. Then from the positive pole to the engine and see if there is any variation in voltage.

850 PnP or Micro switch starting

It's the PnP switch, not the microswitch in the shifter that's causing your problem. That microswitch doesn't effect starting, all it does is release the shifter from Park when the brake pedal is depressed, nothing more.
Winter mode & fleeting trans problem. 850 1996
Classic description of the PNP switch failure. Very common. Typically
Act up on first cold morning (so you are a bit out of sync unless it is
    Still cold in NY).
Warning: More then one transmission has been replaced when this
Switch is bad and replacing the switch is what is needed. Cost
Is 3 to 4 hundred to replace. You can probably go for a few months
With it as is -- don't have to replace immediately, but will eventually.
Turning off the engine and restarting often clears it (eventually
    It won't
