Hi! Can anyone tell me about door removal on my '96 855.

It looks very simple. Is it just a case of detaching check strap/door stop; undoing electrical connector; lifting door off of hinges.

I need to remove my drivers side front door (right hand drive if it makes a difference - which I'm sure it doesn't!). Need to weld bracket for (failed again) door check strap. Not removed door before to do this job.

It looks like no adjustment required on refitting door - that's what I'm concered about - having to adjust door.

Undo check strap. Remove screw from collar on wiring conector. Twist wiring conector collar slightly counter-clockwise, and un plug. Remove setscrews from hinges, lift off door. Takes 2 minutes.
