Interior Side Column S70

Another quick question.
99 S70 Sedan
There are two small sections (either side of the car) of the interior column (adjacent to the front seats;top portion of the column that separates the front windows from the rear windows) that can be opened using a flat head screwdriver.

What are these for? The seatbelts?

    No. They are to access the retainer clips for the trim between the doors and the trim above the doors.
