I just installed the new IPD ECU in my wagon and boy it's a great feeling! Around the 2000-3000 rpm, there is such a reserve & surge of power and as you get to the 4000-5000 rpm there is a noticeable difference. Of course you T5/R AWD owners have been used to this power but for me, having the LPT (190 HP)on an AWD, I've always felt it a bit heavy and sluggish. But now, I probably have at my pedal 220 HP available. Eventually when my exhaust need replacement, I will upgrade exhaust to 2.5 cat back, then I'll have the full complement up to 230 HP, I'm quite sure I'll fall in love with my wagon for a third time.

Haven't done any time trials but instinctively I can tell she is a different car. I also just received the Volvo Front strut bar and will install it soon. I'm going to have a fun weekend boyz.

Fun, isn't it! The cool thing is the dealer can't tell that the ecu was replaced, the emissions are the same, and if you don't floor it mileage is the same. I installed the IPD power pack on my 98 R wagon, 290-300 hp range, lot's of fun with sophistication...having my cake and eating it too!
You should install the dual outlet exhaust, it helps all around.
