Rubbing Tires? V70-XC70

We have the suggested 195--60R15 tires on on FWD V70.

With the windows open now making turns at slow speeds we can hear what sounds like the front tires rubbing against the wheelwell. On checking the tires there does not seem to be any signs of wear on them or a pointof contact with the wheel well.

Any idea what is going on?--Is this a big deal?

    Steering stops V70-XC70

    Lubricate the steering stops, they are located below the CV axle, and there is a corresponding part that looks like a horn sticking out from below the brake caliper. Instructions and more pictures:

    I thought my tires were to blame for this, too. Live and learn - own a Volvo.
