Hi all-
does anyone know if there is an ipd ecu or exhaust upgrade for a 98 xc? I dont see anything like that on thier website. if so, has anyone done this?

how about any other makers similar to ipd who have a 98 ecu upgrade?

Ipd sells an ECU upgrade for XCs. It's listed under AWD as the AWD and XC models have the same running gear. They also sell a neat twin outlet exhaust for the AWD models. Check out page 9 of the Spring/Summer catalog. Other companies sell chips, such as PES/GIAC and Wetteraurer. Good luck.

I have the IPD ECU for my 98 XC. It helps the mid range quite well. Not as well as they tout over the phone mind you. I also went with teh 2000 V-70 R dual exhaust......looks good and is very inexpensive $450 or less. My 1/4 mile times are 15.40 @ 89 MPH. Stock is 15.90 @ 89 MPH
