Creaky 850 850

I recently purchased a 1995 850 with 89,000 miles on it, I have noticed that upon accellerating after starting the car there is a creaking noise from what seems like the rear of the car. This happens as I get to about 15mph and only happens once, after the car is started. It does not happen again unless the car is turned off and restarted. Is this noise normal or should I be concerned?

    In your owner's manual it mentions a test of your antilock brake system at around that speed, it only happens the first time you reach that speed.

    You should look through the owner's manual, it has some handy information - such as how to open your gasoline filler door if the lock fails.

    It's coming from the front. It's the ABS pump doing it's self diagnostic test. It runs the pump for a second at 17 mph. Perfectly normal.
