Does anyone know how to repair the cigarette lighter plug in a 1994 Volvo 850? I've been using it for my radar detector, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore? Thanks for your help.

I agree with Sin, but most likely it's the fuse that got fried somehow. It's pretty tough to affect the connections unless you got under the dash and pulled a wire out of place.

The first little things to check and replace/fix if necessary are pretty darn easy. Check the fuse for it. And check the wiring for continuity. If either of those don't check out, either replace the fuse, or solder/rewire the bad connections. Chances are, it's one of either of these problems.
