Loose cover under steering wheel V70-XC70

The plastic piece that is under the steering wheel is loose. I have to push it back in all the time. How can I fix this issue.

    there are slots (left & right side) that you have to slide the cover into before you push it up to screw in. make sure the cover is in the slots. these hold the back end in place.

    Remove it and look at the plastic where the screws go through. Chances are good that the plastic is broken as that happens with age and you have 2 choices, try re-installing with washers or buy a new cover.
