Getting my white 854 Turbo tinted tomorrow. I was going to get a sunstrip, but I'm thinking it may look alot better without one. What do you guys think? It's only $15 more for the sunstrip, but do you guys think it will look better with or without one? My car is white.

Doesn't your Volvo already have one? Don't most cars? My 850 has a factory sunstrip.

Yes, I just checked and it does have a factory sunstrip. It's too bad I can't tint the whole front window, as I would like maximum privacy and protection from the sun, but It looks like I'll be keeping what I have on the windshield, and just getting the 13% tint all around.

Oh that sunstrip, your car should come with one already. As far as the whole front windshield, there's a new tint that came out (forget by whom) for the front. It's a clear tint that suppose to keep the car up to 70% cooler than normal.

By sunstrip I mean a fat strip of limo tint that goes on the top of the windshield. It goes from side to side and comes down a little.

It's personal preference. I prefer not. The one thing I have never understood is the tint strips that say VOLVO. Like you couldn't TELL it was a Volvo. I have actually seen one of these on a VW Beetle that said VOLKSWAGEN. Oh, is that who makes those cars...

I say get a solid sun strip with volvo on it. See the british touring car version, one had white the other had blue.

I agree with ArcoMan, I would not get the sunstrip. Use the sun visor or sun glasses.
