leather seats 850 1995

Does anyone have any ideas how to restore (or at least diminish) the cracks and wear in the seats? I tried a leather care product, but it didn't seem to absorb into the leather to make it more pliable. Also, I have noticed that many 850's drivers seats show wear on the left lower back from always in and out. What can I treat this with to try to bring it back a little, and has anyone tried leather dye to restore or fill in some of the cracks?
Thanks for any and all input.

You can spray dye the entire seat if you like. Marhyde and SEM both make good products for doing it (and I'm sure others do as well). The end result is VERY impressive. It looks like brand new leather, although the cracks will show through eventually.

    leather seats- Baby Oil ! 850 1995

Plain old baby oil works great on leather - its what they use at car shows.

Just let it absorb for a while and wipe off excess.

Try on a small patch first before doing a large area.

Try a company called Leatherique out of Florida. It's the only thing I have found that will actually soften the leather. It also "plumps" the leather to minimize the visible cracks in the leather.
If the leather is actually cracked, they offer repair kits which I have heard great things about but have not personally used. I believe the website is www.leatherique.com. Ask for the swedish brick package. You'll never use lexol again!
    Good luck!
