HOW TO REMOVE RED LIPSTICK FROM A SAND/TAN HEADLINER 850

Well yesterday before i cleaned the stain, i thought that the headliner was ruined and that a 5-6 inch mark of RED lipstick would never come off a sand/tan headliner. BUT IT DID!!! DOn't Panic like i did. you can fix it.

Here is what i did.

1. searched the internet for a non toxic/non oil based/non liquid cleaner that would not penetrate into the headliner glue as bad as a liquid solvent would.

2. Decided on a product called "Kiss Off" stain remover. www.kissoff.com

3. followed the directions on tube, used a spray bottle of water to "mist the stain" and wet it.

4. applied the kiss off stain remover. waited about 2 minutes.

5. wiped clean the area with a damp white towel. then used a dry white towel.

6. you may have to do this again the next day after it dries, after the firt cleaning, the stain was 99% gone.

7. clean again.

8. stain all gone!!!

The stuff works and i am very impressed with it.

Dan

Damn! Just when I thought I'd seen it all. Closest I ever got to that was dealing with a bunch of high heel shoe prints on the headliner, but that was long ago and in another country...

Why didn't you get your wife to do the cleaning? Well, maybe not, forget it.
