Go to volvospeed.com to get the whole proceedure. Two things, turn the key to position ll first, then put the jumper in A-7, and does the LED blink back with a response???? If it doesn't respond something is not hooked up.

I've been putting the pin in a-7 as the first step. (1994 850T). Have never had a problem resetting the light for the past 8 years.
