When do hoses need to be replaced? 850 1995

Having a now almost 7 year-old 850 turbo I just want to know what the consensus is on replacing vacuum and/or other related hoses in the engine compartment. I do run the car hard from time to time (I know, a bad and nasty habit) and have been running with increased boost (ECU and a few other little things) for about 3 years now - I've probably subjected the hoses to more heat than a regular 850 turbo owner has. Is there a recommended time as to when I should go and replace all the hoses? Is there a lot of labour involved in the process? Thanks.

If you see some that are looking like they are getting checked, or brittle, then that may be the time to think about it.
