Is anyone happy with one of those custom fit sun shields that
fit above the dashboard to protect from the upcoming summer heat?
If so, could you tell me where you got it and how much?

Mr. Detail,
Try this site for custom fit sun shields. Canvasworks.com, 800-777-6405. They run about $25.00 + s/h.
I bought one for my '98 C70 and it fits perfectly and does the job. I threw away the one I bought at Costco/Price Club and the one from Pep Boys.
