Need to replace my brakes 850 1996

I was wondering if anybody knows what size hex screw or other is locAted on the front brakes of a 96 850.

I tried replacing my pads today and noticed two rubber tubes with caps on them. I removed tHE caps and noticed some type of screw inside the tube that needs to be loosened in order to remove the brake housing. I just can't figure out what size it is.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Need to replace my brakes 850 1996

hi Flying Dutchman.
Jot said 7mm socket, It is 7mm male drive, the opposite of a socket.
vovospeed.com is the place to go for knowledge on brake jobs and stuff. Look in the maitenance section. I just did all four of my brakes and used the site for reference. There is an opinion on having the rotors turned or not and installing new ones, mine had plenty of material thickness left, so I had them machined (turned) as I have on my other 850, and other makes of cars before. A strong word of advice, use the anti-squeal lube from volvo, and do this job once and you won't have to go back in 2 weeks and put the lube on then because the brakes are squealling like dying cats!
