C70 Power window switch C70 1998

Can anyone tell me how to jump the wires at the power window harness to make the window go up? Mine is stuck down and I don't want to pay $150 for the switch now. Thanks

    Thanks for the response. I found out that if you pull the door panel and locate the wires coming out of the motor (black& red on mine), you can put 12v to the motor directly and the window will move.

    Robert,
    I had the same thing happen on my '00 C70. The switch is easy to pop out. I tried to jump the wires, I could not get it to work. Since this was a weekend when the switch went out, I had to wait until Monday to get it replaced under warranty. Sorry that this was not much help. But, try calling westcountyvolvo@Yahoo.com 800.822.4521. They have the best prices on Volvo items that I have found.
