Install Door Lock Switch on Dash 850 1995

Hello folks I would like to install a dash mount door lock switch that came on 1997 850, i currently have the switch and wire plug. I would like to know how to tap into lock system to make this switch work. Any clues ? Anyone ?
Ps. The car currently has a remote entry alarm system.

Install Door Lock Switch on Dash 850 1995

After 1995, the 850's have a different door locking system that not only includes the dash switch, but also a two-stage function that allows the driver's door and only the driver's door to be opened; the next stage opens all doors. In addition, the wireless remote system changed after 1995 (got smaller, better).

To do what you are asking will, at a minimum, require a wiring diagram. You may be able to tap into the right circuits, but you will have to be careful about the alarm function.

Why do you want this switch? Since the 1995 does not have the two-stage function, how will a switch perform differently than simply using the door lock?

Hi, can you tell me the part number for the switch? I've been asking around and no one knows. I think to separate the switch from the door lock is a great idea. I once tried to unlock the door in a hurry, put too much strength on the door lock, the next thing I knew was the door went wide open, almost got a car passing by, DANGROUS!!!
