I notice my 93 850 has a fairly weak horn. Any ideas of getting a stronger horn? Or, do i have a problem with my horn? thanks

    Hella makes some nice air horns and an incredible set of electronic horns. Members of the BMW website rave about them. Eastern Aerospace has them but they are about twice as expensive as I have found at other websites. I believe they are called Supertones. I've seen them all over for about $59-65 US.

    I was never impressed with the Volvo horn design, so I added a pair of air horns just behind the air dam on the battery side. They're securely floating/held in place with long wire ties. The small compressor unit is attached just forward of the battery on a bolt though the horizontal plastic frame piece. Tap the battery directly, and wire the switch side of the relay from the existing horns.
