ok everyone, lets play guess that sound. everyday when i go over the same raised manhole on the street i hear a clunking sort of sound (like a seatbelt hitting the b-piller) coming from the right front strut area or front right part of the car. anyone know what might be knocking or loose?

Pure guess but it could be the strut hitting the strut mount. There should be some sort of rubber stop to prevent the shock from hitting the mount. This can corrode. I'm not sure if this is clear or not. I can't think of any of the vocabulary right now. Check out the rubber stop.
