Cruise Control Doesnt Work 850 1993

My cruise Control doesnt work. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I have a 1993 850GLT

I just fixed mine and it was the vacuum hose in engine compartment. If you pull the battery out and the battery tray you'll find several vacuum lines that come to T. Run the length of the those lines and you might very well find the problem.

Mine stopped working when the switch on the brake peddle broke from its harness This caused the switch to be in the disengage mode, cost me $15.00 for a new switch from Volvo and fitted it my self the dealer told me this is a common breakage due to the plastic clips in use are under strain.

This could be one place to start looking for a problem
